UPDATE: due to a scheduling conflict, our show has been moved out one week to Sunday August 28th. Same great animals, same opportunity to see one of the largest tortoise species in the world (and have your photo taken with it). So if you've already marked your calendars, we hope its in pencil so you can erase the old entry and put us down for Sunday August 28, 2016. We will open the doors at 10am and be around all day to 4pm this year. There will be plenty of different species on display and information available for care. We tend to get a lot of desert tortoises and sliders in looking for homes, so if you have a pond or a yard that could house one, let us know. See our adoptions page for more information.
Save the Date - our 5th Annual Turtle and Tortoise show - Sunday, August 21, 2016 - moved to August 28, 2016
We are so excited to announce the date for our next show. Every year we've learned from the past and every year we've exceeded our expectations. This year should be no different. We booked the date, Sunday, August 21, 2016. Due to the overwhelming response we've extended the show by one hour this year, we will be open at 10am through 4pm. We will have the giant Galapagos Tortoises on exhibit, and for a small donation you can get in with them and take a picture on your own device (camera, phone, etc). We strive to get a wide variety of species at the show for you see and learn about, We hope to be able to display over 30 different species. The CTTC takes in hundreds of turtles and tortoises every year and we do our best to rehabilitate those that need it and find them new caring homes. This show is about providing a place for us to educate people about these animals and their proper care and let you get up close to some of the more exotic species. So help us out by attending our show, it is our way of reaching out and educating people about these animals, and while this show is a fundraising event it helps us care for the animals we get in and find them new homes.
